On February 28, 2013, Kingfisher Lake First Nation leaders worked with Ontario government officials, KO-KNET team and Bell Aliant to get their Community Cable network connected to the new Bell Aliant fibre with a 100mb circuit. This upgraded the bandwidth from 2-T1 circuits (3mb) to a 100mb.
