THUNDER BAY, ON: The family of Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) member Abraham Miles (17) together with Fort Severn First Nation and NAN await the results of an internal investigation of Thunder Bay Police following a November 7, 2007 incident where Miles was interrogated and photographed by police during a school tour of the Thunder Bay police department.

Ottawa, ON (November 28, 2007) —– The National Aboriginal Health Organization (NAHO) is once again searching for Canada’s best and brightest Aboriginal youth for nomination to the 2008-09 National Aboriginal Role Model Program (NARMP).
The program, which has been organized by NAHO for the past four years, aims to highlight the accomplishments of Inuit, First Nations and Métis youth aged 13 to 30. The program’s theme is “Lead Your Way!”
