Muskrat Dam First Nation Explores Hydroelectric Power - McGuinty Government Helping Build Green Energy, Create Green Jobs

A Northwestern Ontario First Nations community is looking into developing a hydroelectric generating facility to help reduce energy costs and environmental impacts.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is supporting efforts by Muskrat Dam First Nation to determine the feasibility of a one-megawatt powerplant at Windigo Falls.
