Teacher of Native Children additional qualification course available online from Lakehead U

Lakehead University’s Faculty of Education is offering a new Additional Qualification course this Spring-Summer.

Teacher of Native Children was created to support provincial and regional initiatives aimed at assisting teachers to better meet the educational needs of Aboriginal children in their schools.

The course will run from May 5 to July 25 and will be delivered through a combination of online learning, five videoconferences, and a culminating practical activity to be completed in July.

The Bamaji Ice defeated the Weagamow Hawks in a deciding game by the score of 4 - 1.

COO calls on First Nations to rally in support of KI-6 and for Ontario to withdraw Platinex permit

 As the Chiefs of Ontario leadership organizes a rally in support of the KI-6, the Globe and Mail recommends that the Ontario government (the Minister of NDM, Michael Gravelle) withdraw the land use permit the government provided to Platinex.
