Bamaji Ice Hockey Team from SlateFalls F.N. captured "A" side Championship at the Sioux Lookout District F.N.'s Hockey Tournament on Sunday, April 13th, 2008.
The Bamaji Ice defeated the Weagamow Hawks in a deciding game by the score of 4 - 1.
The win was the first Championship captured by the Bamaji Ice Hockey Team. #17 Wendell Sakakeesic was voted as M.V.P. 2008 and # 94 Cory Chikane was named as Co-M.V.P. from the "A" side Finalist Weagamow Hawks.
