Community Sound[e]Scapes - Northern Ontario - Interviews
As well as working with the school, the visiting team also built relationships through other activities such as dinners, ice fishing trips, shooting trips, community meetings (with yummy bannock dogs cooked locally!) and youth gym nights. Where possible sound recordings were made of these activities and added to the collection of sounds. Below are some recorded conversations Rebecca Caines had with some of the friends she made in North Spirit that also help to understand the community and its soundscapes.
