Keewaytinook Okimakanak, as the Regional Management Organization for INAC's First Nation SchoolNet program is launching the http://e-careers.knet.ca web site.

E-careers is a new e-learning resource for First Nation students, schools and families to encourage and celebrate First Nation people who are living and furthering their careers in their community.

 Re: Mr. Dan Koosees

For your information former Deputy Grand Dan Koosees will be going into a major open heart surgery at the Sudbury Regional Hospital tomorrow morning at 8 Am and the doctors anticipate at least a 4 hour surgery. During that time he will only be kept alive on a life support machine. The doctors are not concern about the surgery itself but during his recovery for the first 7 days as you know by now, Dan is a dialysis patient.

Wabanong Nakaygum Okimawin (WNO) is the group created to bring together First Nations, government and resource companies to create lands planning and governance. Elder Ed Wood will share how the First Nations conducted their planning and dealt with challenges such as overlapping territories, government regulations, parklands, forestry agreements, etc.
