Dear Chiefs and First Nations of Nishnawbe Aski Nation,

 Re: Mr. Dan Koosees

For your information former Deputy Grand Dan Koosees will be going into a major open heart surgery at the Sudbury Regional Hospital tomorrow morning at 8 Am and the doctors anticipate at least a 4 hour surgery. During that time he will only be kept alive on a life support machine. The doctors are not concern about the surgery itself but during his recovery for the first 7 days as you know by now, Dan is a dialysis patient.

We are asking for your prayer for Mr. Koosees and for his family during this time. I will submit another update once we know on how the procedure went and update his condition.
