Keewaytinook Okimakanak Student Support Services is looking to fill two positions.  Student Counsellors & Prime Workers for the upcoming school year (July 2009 to June 2010). The students will be coming from our First Nation communities of Fort Severn, Keewaywin, Deer Lake, North Spirit Lake, Poplar Hill, and McDowell Lake.

TORONTO — Aboriginal leaders welcomed an agreement announced Monday between the federal and Ontario governments to clean up 16 abandoned Cold War radar sites in northern Ontario at an estimated cost of more than $100 million.
