OTTAWA - Critics of the Harper government's proposed changes to the Copyright Act have launched a cyber crusade to fight the controversial bill.

They're using everything from Facebook to YouTube to Wikipedia to blogs to get their message out. They want the government to either scrap or make serious amendments to Bill C-61 when Parliament resumes next month.

Northern Nishnawbe Education Council announces William Dumas as new Executive Director

(Sioux Lookout Ontario, August 15th, 2008)  The Interim Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. William Dumas, effective July 15, 2008 as the new Executive Director of the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council.

Mr. Dumas is Cree, he is fluent and writes in his language, he is from South Indian Lake and is a member of the Nelson House First Nation in Manitoba.
