As Bell Aliant rolls out the NAN First Nation funded fibre cable transport connecting the remote First Nations across Northwestern Ontario, the First Nations are now connecting their administration buildings using their own fibre cable along with their local coax cable networks to this fibre backbone.

Congratulations to Brandon Rae from North Spirit Lake who competed and successfully won a very rewarding scholarship. The scholarship for $5000 is from Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Canada (AFOA). Students were asked to highlight their ambitions in business and education and Brandon Rae did just that.
