KO Telemedicine Scheduler/Trainer- Full Time Position

The KO Telemedicine Scheduler/Trainer works with the KO Telemedicine team to work with Community Telemedicine Coordinators to teach the essentials of Telemedicine as well as support the scheduling team in the coordination of Telemedicine events.  The KO Telemedicine Scheduler/Trainer position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.  Telemedicine is based on cutting edge technology and is an innovative career choice.  The KO Telemedicine Scheduler/Trainer will report directly to the KOTM Program Manager.

The ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Degree or diploma in health/education or business services
  • Experience with First Nation health care service and delivery
  • Understanding of and interest in the use of communications and learning technologies in health care delivery
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working with First Nations community health workers and First Nation leadership
  • Effective decision making ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member
  • Knowledge of the Keewaytinook Okimakanak and other Sioux Lookout Zone communities, sensitivity to geographical and cultural needs of First Nations people
  • Ability to prepare and submit reports
  • Computer skills and familiarity with e-mail and the internet is essential
  • Ability to speak Oji-Cree an asset

KO Telemedicine offers excellent remuneration and benefits.  Salary will be dependant on qualifications and work experience.
