News Release - SLAAMB Seeking Applications to Work in Construction in New Health Centre and Hostel

Construction of the new Sioux Lookout Health Centre and the Hostel which services patients and escorts is schedule to begin in the middle of June 2008. Sioux Lookout Area Aboriginal Management Board (SLAAMB) is encouraging First Nation members from the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre catchment area to apply for the various employment opportunities during construction.

We are asking First Nation members to submit their resumes and provide background information as it relates to their work experience, current address, phone numbers and willingness to relocate to Sioux Lookout for the duration of their employment. It is important that the applicants identify the type of job preference such as Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Labourers, Steelworkers, Heavy Equipment Operators, etc.... All work experience should be included in the resume so we can link the job opportunities to the individual.
