Telemedicine Scheduler - Full Time Position
The Telemedicine Scheduler works with the dynamic KO Telemedicine team under the supervision of the Program Manager. This position works closely with the KO Telemedicine Program to ensure that all clinical consults and educational sessions are arranged and properly documented.
The ideal Candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of Telemedicine scheduling and referral processes and procedures is an asset
- Understanding of and interest in the use of communications and learning about new technologies in health care delivery
- Ability to maintain an accurate and highly detailed record of health services activity
- Experience working with physicians and other health care professionals
- Strong listening skills
- Able to work as part of a team and to complete work on schedule with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to service excellence
- Computer skills (word, outlook, excel, power point, scheduling software)
- Knowledge of the Keewaytinook Okimakanak and other Sioux Lookout Zone communities, sensitivity to geographical and cultural needs of First Nations people
- Able to speak Oji-Cree an asset
KO Telemedicine offers excellent remuneration and benefits. Salary will be dependant on qualifications and work experience.
