Aboriginal Women's Economic Development Forum March 8 in Thunder Bay

Ontario Native Women's Association, in partnership with PARO Women's Business Centre is proud to host the "Dream It! Do it" Aboriginal Women's Economic Development Forum.

The one-day forum will be held March 8th, 2010 in Thunder Bay at the Prince Arthur Hotel. The forum is to assist and empower Aboriginal Women and youth to become Entrepreneurs. If a member within your community is interested in operating their own business, this forum will provide them with:

  • An opportunity to hear the voices of Aboriginal women who have become Entrepreneurs; learn what they know, hear their opinions, share some of their insight.
  • The chance to network among other Aboriginal women who share the same goal as you.
  • Participate in one of three possible break-out sessions, Marketing Your Business, Funding sources and how to access it, Writing your Business Plan.

Walk through the Tradeshow which will feature a variety of vendors and government service providers.

This forum is open to all Aboriginal women, and there is no registration fee.

Additionally, this forum can be viewed LIVE from wherever you are by web streaming hosted by KORI in Thunder Bay. On March 8th, log on to http://streamer.knet.ca and take part LIVE!
