Dr. Lemelin is an internationaly renown polar researcher who works with Aboriginal communities to discuss parklands, tourism and wildlife management. He is an advocate for wildlife management by those who live on the land. The workshop will include examples of First Nation communities in Northern Ontario who have traditional territories inside park boundaries. It also includes systems of park management and government parks terminology. This workshop is open to everyone, join us by video conference from your community.
