Telemedicine Secretary - Full Time Position 
The Telemedicine Secretary is a Full Time position that supports the KO Telehealth Administration Team to create an efficient and effective workplace environment.  The major duties and responsibilities are a guideline and new tasks and duties will be assigned as required.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Faxing, photocopying and typing for the Telemedicine department. 
 
- Make travel arrangements for the Telemedicine staff 
 
- To create and maintain a health resource library 
 
- To organize and prepare for the Telemedicine department meetings and workshops 
 
- To attend Telemedicine meetings: record and distribute minutes 
 
- To take and record messages for the Telemedicine personnel 
 
- To receive and record all Telemedicine department staff and community workers timesheets and submit to payroll 
 
- To be responsible for Telemedicine department purchase orders 
 
- Receiving, logging and distribution of incoming mail/faxes; logging and mailing of all outgoing mail
 
- Ordering office supplies for Telemedicine office and communities 
 
- To be responsible for shipping/receiving of supplies to Northern Communities
 
- To assist with Scheduling Department as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Several years experience in office support
 
- Ability to use computer programs such as WordPerfect/Word, Microsoft, and Excel. 
 
- Ability to work in a team environment. 
 
- Knowledge of Sioux Lookout Health Zone First Nations communities. 
 
- Knowledge of health care services is an asset. 
 
- Aboriginal language an asset 
 
- Valid driver’s license
 
Salary will be dependant on qualifications and work experience.
