The BC First Nations Summit Chiefs in Assembly established the First Nations Technology Council to develop a First Nations Technology plan for First Nations in British Columbia.
On Thursday evening, Sept 17, Frank LaValley, FNTC Manager and Sue Hanley, FNTC Coordinator flew into Sioux Lookout from their meetings with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs in Winnipeg. They spent all day Friday and Saturday meeting with KO-KNET team members and learning about the KNET operation. They are interested in seeing how a similar operation can be established to support the First Nations across British Columbia.
