Crystal Shawanda, rising Anishinaabe country star, headlines the Concert, and she has donated an autographed Gibson guitar to be auctioned off that evening. The lineup also features Angus Jourdain, Digging Roots, Marc Nadjiwan, Billy Joe Green, Percy Tuesday and young talent from across Treaty 3 including Louann Whitecrow, Nylin White, Jason Tuesday, Abraham Hunter and Cita Antoine.
Afternoon workshops will be offered again, at no charge to youth, with the help of the musicians and other resource people in areas such as Careers in Music & the Performing Arts, Video Production, Arts & Crafts.
We need help to make this another success! Supporters can contribute to this event in various ways.

Oshki Aa-yaa-aag Mino Bimaadiziiwin (Good Life for Young People) Foundation announces Bimosedaa Mino Bimaadiziiwin (Walk for Good Life).
Foundation Founder & President, Al Hunter announces today that Bimosedaa Mino Bimaadiziiwin is scheduled to depart Rainy River First Nations, Manitou Rapids, Ontario on Monday July 20. The walkers expect to complete the circular route on July 27, 2009.
To help address the issues and concerns of young people, the former chief of the Manitou Rapids Community of the Rainy River First Nations asks supporters to join any part of the 350 mile walk. He explains that the walk will proceed in a clockwise direction From Manitou Rapids to Kenora, Dryden and Fort Frances, visiting all the communities along the way.
In his statement Hunter said, “Friends, I'm going for a walk. I'm looking for walkers, supporters and donors. You can join us to walk a mile or all 350.” The walk is similar to the 1200-mile Walk to Remember of 2000 that circled Lake Superior. Hunter encourages youth support groups and communities to organize fundraisers, to donate and participate in a Walk for Good Life: Bimosedaa Mino Bimaadiziiwin.
