Are you a NAN First Nation person intrested in a in a one week Business Mentoring Opportunity in Toronto August 15th to 20th, 2009
Project Beyshick, presented by Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) and the POA Educational Foundation, is a leadership and career development program for NAN entrepreneurs, students, professionals and community leaders over the age of 18.
Project Beyshick nurtures entrepreneurship; enhances leadership, networking, and business skills among Nishnawbe Aski Nation members wanting to pursue challenging and rewarding careers. The goal of Project Beyshick is to empower First Nation youth by providing an opportunity to participate in local and corporate economies and to become equal partners in the economic prosperity of Ontario and Canada.
The POA Education foundation will select 8 participants from First nation's communities within Nishnawbe Aski Nation. These individuals will travel to Toronto for an intensive one-week entrepreneurial mentoring experience.
Eligible participants should demonstrate a keen interest in business, entrepreurship and/or corporate leadership, and will be required to follow the application guidelines provided by the POA Education Foundation.
After some initial business mentor, and will spend 3 days observing as the executive conducts of his/her business routine.
This program expects serious participation, long hours of work and prior preparations for effective participation.
