Operations & Maintenance Technologist

Keewaytinook Okimakanak (Northern Chiefs Council) provides technical services to First Nations communities in remote North-western Ontario.

KO Public Works invites applications for the position of  Operations & Maintenance Technologist, located in Balmertown, Ontario.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for acting as a resource and advisor to KO communities  with regard to all matters relating to the O & M of community infrastructure.

Qualifications :
Current member or eligibility for membership in OACETT.  Secondary education, Community College or University graduate in the engineering technology/technician related fields or an associated specialty.  Experience in the theory & practice of O & M of public infrastructure, including community buildings, water & sewer systems, landfill/refuse sites, roads/bridges and other community services.  

All applications will be considered, but preferences will be for a minimum of five years related experience.
