The team is now inviting EVERYONE who participated in these projects over the years to SUBSCRIBE to this new meeting place that Angie Morris and Kristy Tomkinson are hosting.
We are interested in getting your story about your experience in these different projects that have taken place over the years. We want to learn what worked well and what needs to be changed to better serve the youth in the First Nations we serve.
Please consider joining us in this meeting place to let us know what you are doing today and to let us know about your experience with the KO-KNET Youth project that you participated in since the summer of 1995 when we hosted our first youth project.
This site is for YICT alumni to connect, engage in conversations, and have the opportunity to participate in this research project.
The main goal of the research is to gain insight into the experiences of YICT graduates during and after completing their employment project.
The research will be conducted through collaboration with Kristy Tomkinson from the University of Guelph and the K-Net Team. The project will be taking place mainly over this summer (2009), but will be developed into a community database.
