INAC's First Nations SchoolNet program evaluation visits Keewaytinook Okimakanak and NNEC

The summative evaluation of the First Nations SchoolNet is nearing completion. The final report is to be submitted to INAC officials by the middle of February.

This past week (February 4 and 5, 2009), the two principal authors of the evaluation report visited Keewaytinook Okimakanak's Kuhkenah Network (K-Net) to learn aboutĀ its work as the Ontario Regional Management Organization.

As part of the evaluation process, the program evaluators met with staff and students of the Keewaytinook Internet High School, NNEC's Pelican Falls First Nations High School and the Wahsa Distance Education Centre to learn how ICTs are being utilized to support the delivery of these programs and service.
