Asset Qualifications:
University degree and/or successful completion of a two-year post-secondary program.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience working with members of Aboriginal communities in either a paid or unpaid capacity.
Experience in delivering services to the general public involving obtaining and providing information requiring explanation and/or clarification.
Experience using business-related software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software, email and internet applications.
Asset Qualifications:
Experience in delivering services to the general public; obtaining and providing information requiring explanation and/or clarification.
Experience in preparing and delivering effective presentations.
Organizational Needs:
Member of an employment equity group, specifically be a person of Aboriginal descent.
Operational Requirements:
Must be willing to travel throughout the service area, including to remote/isolated communities. Must be capable of transporting, setting up and taking down equipment and materials required for outreach visits. i.e. laptop computers, printers, sign boards, boxes of printed materials, etc. Must be available to work flexible hours when required. Member of an employment equity group, specifically be a person of Aboriginal descent.

Provide information and guidance on a broad range of programs and services offered by Service Canada and other levels of government/community organizations.
Assess and respond to citizen or community needs and liaise with partners to coordinate the delivery of service offerings.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, including community officials, MP's, employers etc.
Perform outreach activities in isolated/remote communities to ensure citizens have access to a wide range of service offerings.
Help clients to navigate Service Canada's website and use self-service tools; help with electronic exchanges; and promote and encourage citizens to access and use electronic service channels.
Deliver presentations to elected and community officials, organizations and the public
Conduct community activities or attend community events to promote access to service offerings and to respond to specialized needs.
