KO First Nations part of Northern Ontario's Telehealth Project

Keewaytinook Okimakanak First Nations and Health Services is teaming up with the NORTH Network and all the hospitals across Northern Ontario to develop and deliver a number of health care programs using Information Communication Technologies (ICTs). Orpah McKenzie, Keewaytinook Okimakanak's Health Director attended the announcement in Thunder Bay on Monday, March 20, 2001. The goal of improving health services in remote First Nations will be achieved with funding support from Health Canada, FedNor and other partners (see the press release for more details).
