Wapakeka First Nation, 16th Annual SOS Conference, July 21-28, 2008.

The Conference is Dedicated to the Survivors and all who have been affected by Suicide.

Join us in our Wapakeka First Nation’s 16th Annual Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Healing Journey Conference. July 21-28, 2008.

Everyone is welcome to come and transportation will be covered by Wapekeka First Nation (one (1) charter per community to attend); However, travel may be limited.

Accomodations and meals will be provided for everyone who participates.

There will be a nightly Jamboree with Live Radio Broadcast from Wawatay.

Facilitators will be doing workshops during the day that will cover topics such as residential achool legacy, sexual abuse, suicide prevention, etc.

Organized recreation and sports activites will be available for the Youth.

Please bring you own sleeping gear.

No alcohol and no drugs. Thank you.
