March 20 is the deadline for the Mary Carpenter - People Making Changes Award.

Do you know of someone who has worked to create positive changes in relations between people in the community of Sioux Lookout?  Please nominate them for this award. 

You can download a form at www.slarc.ca . Complete this form and fax it to 737-2600, or drop off to June at the Ontario Legal Aid office on Front Street.  The award recipient will be announced at the Multi-Cultural Potluck Feast, March 30, as part of Race Relations Week 2008.

 Past recipients include:  Neil Michelin (2007) the late Marcel Angeconeb (2005), Garnet Angeconeb (2004), Monika Orzechowska (1997), and Ennis Fiddler (1996).
