Sioux Lookout organizations are working with the Sioux Lookout Anti-racism Committee to host a variety of activities during Race Relations Week (March 21-30). Everyone is invited to join in at any of the following events.

Let’s Walk Together: Gamamawibimosemin: A Good Friday Walk for Building Right Relations, Nishnawbe Gamik Friendship Centre, meet at noon

Tuesday March 25

Aboriginal Healing Foundation book launch of From Truth to Reconciliation: Transforming the Legacy of Residential Schools, Friendship Centre, 7pm

Weaving Reconciliation Opening including the film The Thread Narratives, A-frame gallery, 7pm

Cedar Bay Family Fun Day – stables and lakeshore - bonfires, food, sleigh rides, pony rides, ski poker derby, traditional aboriginal games, other outdoor games, 1-4pm
Coffee House, A Celebration of Languages, St. Andrew’s United Church, 7 pm

Sunday March 30

Multicultural Feast, with Mary Carpenter – People Making Changes Award presentation, Legion Hall, 5pm
