YOUCAN is excited to announce that May 2008 we're hosting YouthQUAKE!
Is your agency interested in some youth-led workshops on Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution?
If you have youth leaders in your organization that you believe could benefit from world-class training from YOUCAN - this is the event you've been waiting for! YOUCAN's YouthQUAKE will offer youth training in cross cultural conflict resolution, facilitation and action planning. A week full of training that can truly benefit your youth serving agency.
Youth from your agency have three weeks in May to choose from:
(1) May 4 – 10
(2) May 11 – 17
(3) May 18 – 24
Each week is limited to 120 participants and 5 adult mentors (plus YOUCAN staff and trainers). Travel bursary's will likely be approved by the Federal Government by the end of February and we have until March 31st, 2008 to book all travel. YOUCAN's registration Deadline therefore is March 21st, 2008.

Accommodations for YouthQUAKE are at the Terry Fox Youth Centre in Ottawa (home of Encounters with Canada).
Registration for the all-inclusive week is $625.00. This includes dorm room accommodation, all meals and snacks, all ground transportation, entrance fees and training. Travel grants will be available on a first come first served basis upon receiving the full registration fee.
Don’t delay signing up as we can only accept a certain number of youth per region.
