Pelican Falls First Nations High School Co-op Ed club reports on careers gathering in Montreal

Updates from PFFNHS Co-op Club while visiting Montreal ...

From Dennis Wesley, Oct 29

Sup! my name`s Dennis Wesley, one of the lucky students from Pelican to go to Montreal! Yesterday was fun because i got the chance to go shopping and sightseeing in the beautiful city of Montreal. It`s great! The horse carridge ride was fun but really cold. anyways, this is my heads-up on the trip so far and you will be hearing from us. Peace out

Day 3 and 4:

Yesterday was a prelude to Halloween festivities which was filled with a terror-filled dinner show at the Haunted Mansion.  Very exciting, scary and tons of fun!  Day 4 was taken up with the career fair by Blueprint for the Future, totally inspiring meeting aboriginal youth who are living out their passions!  David Gill is an Innu from Northern Quebec, and did you know he is the fastest Canadian in the 800 m?  Then at 6'ish, the group headed off to cheer on the Montreal Canadians, too many funny stories to share!  Let's just say that the Canadians lost but we got our NHL signature before the night was over from #6.

Heading home Wednesday a.m. with Montreal bagels!  Tons of fun, career seeking!
