Inadequate bandwidth and infrastructure in remote First Nations challenges online applications and users

A recent report produced by the Keewaytinook Okimakanak Research Institute (KORI) found that online users in remote and rural First Nations are frustrated by slow internet access speeds to view videos and web sites.

The study, "Breast Cancer Awareness Website Survey Results", found that participants wanted to access health information online but the available bandwidth speeds limit their ability to do so.

They want the sites to download faster and they want to see more photos and videos... KORI has already implemented some of these ideas...
