Update on the Fast/Peaceful Protest at INAC's Thunder Bay office of the BOFF for First Nation schools

Matthew Angees of Wunnimun Lake First Nation and Douglas Beardy of Muskrat Dam First Nation are continuing their fast to secure a commitment to increase the Government of Canada’s Band Operated Funding Formula to improve the funding for on-reserve education, specifically in Ontario’s north.  Matthew and Doug began fasting outside of INAC’s Thunder Bay Ontario office on Wednesday October 10. Everyone is invited to come join Matthew and Doug outside of the Thunder Bay Region INAC office, and show their support Tuesday October 16, 2007. There will be a press conference held at 12:30 followed immediately by a rally.
