The Chiefs of Ontario, Education Coordination Unit and Union of Ontario Indians are hosting the 2nd Annual Education Conference on November 21 and 22, 2007, in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the Best Western Nor'Wester Resort Hotel.

The conference will provide participants with the knowledge and understanding of the realities facing First Nation students and communities with respect to education. Innovative strategies will be presented to address the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of young children. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to network with other First Nation educators.

Participants are responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements. A block of rooms have been set aside at the Best Western Nor'Wester Resort Hotel at a reduced rate of $87.95 per night.
