Slate Falls First Nations elects new chief and council

On Thursday, November 30, Slate Falls band members elected a new chief and council in accordance with the Slate Falls Nation Custom Election Code.
The new chief and council are:
- Chief Glen Whiskeyjack
- Councillors Lorraine Crane and Cecilia Spence
They will be the Slate Falls leader for a three year term.
