Quotes

"A good quality education is an integral part of reconciliation in that it helps enable First Nation children to develop a strong sense of identity, and the confidence and skills they need to reach their full potential. Our government takes its requirements under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement seriously and we continue to ensure our obligations are fulfilled in the spirit of reconciliation. That is why recipients of the Common Experience Payment (CEP) can now apply to receive non-cash Personal Credits in educational programs and services, for either themselves or certain family members."
