Kakekaspan Memorial
Memorial Cross for Sinclair Kakekaspan (father of Ezra, grandfather of Leon) and his son Leslie Kakekaspan (father to Leon and brother to Ezra). Sinclair and Leslie are grandfather and uncle to George, and great-grandfather and great uncle to Sinclair (George’s son), respectively.
Cross erected on the north side of the Sachigo River immediately upstream of the confluence with the Severn River at approximate site of drowning accident in 1972 which took their lives. Body recovery efforts at the time were unsuccessful.
