On July 3 and 4, the Joint Working Group is holding a meeting with a small group of Elders from across the Far North to hear their perspectives on land use planning. The knowledge of the Elders will help guide our work.
The Joint Working Group is made up of First Nation community members from across the Far North who have been meeting with MNR to discuss how to build a common understanding and awareness of land use planning in the Far North, and to put land use planning in a First Nations context.
