During last week's Keewaytinook Okimakanak Board meeting, the Chiefs of Keewaytinook Okimakanak formally established the new for-profit Development Corporation as a new business venture that will be operating independent from the tribal council.
The Chiefs appointed Geordi Kakepetum as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the new corporation, effective immediately.
The Chiefs appointed Peter Campbell as the Executive Director of Keewaytinook Okimakanak, effective immediately.
There will be a transition period to support these changes and the establishment of the new business venture.
