North Spirit Lake First Nation election results from June 29 community vote

Yesterday, June 29, North Spirit Lake First Nation held their community elections.
The official results, as presented by the Election Committee are:
Chief: Rita Thompson
Deputy Chief: Rachel Oombash
Councillors:
Brian Rae
Jake Kakekagumick
Corey Rae
Brian Rae wrote the following message to everyone ... Thank you for the Votes!! Congratulations to the Chief and Council that were elected. To the the candidates that ran, I am proud of everyone that ran, it's a big step when someone is running. To Maggie Kakegamic and Cameron Rae, it was a good three months learning from you guys. But I'll stop from time to time ask for advice. :) NSL hasn't had a good year. O yes we can start working together. :) My dad would been so proud.
