As of today (Aug 13th, 2001) the huge group of people from Pikangikum will be close to getting into Winnipeg. To be exact, they will be 20kms out of Winnipeg. The long journey started on the 25th of July and they will be arriving 4 days earlier than planned. To date there are about 180 people from Pikangikum participating in the walk and numerous other people from other communities as well.
