Shibogama Technical Services honoured at NAN Business Awards 2004 ceremony

Shibogama Technical Services is pleased to announce we were the recipients of the Building Communities Award 2004 at the 14th Annual Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Business Awards Banquet held in Timmins, Ontario on December 1, 2004.Madeline Commanda, Chair of the Board made the following statement to describe what these awards represent. "The Board of Directors of Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund sees the presentation of the awards as a means to recognize the outstanding effort of individuals, businesses, and organizations who have worked diligently to bring positive change to the people and communities within Nishnawbe Aski Nation."
Mathew Hoppe, O&M Technologist, accepted the award on behalf of STS. In his acceptance speech, Mathew identified each STS staff member to the more than 300 people attending the banquet. He also made note of the team spirit that exists within STS, making it possible for us to concentrate our efforts to improve living conditions in the communities.
