KO Open House Big Success on National Aboriginal Day

Rather than closing its doors to celebrate National Aboriginal Day, the KO sub office in Balmertown flung them open for area elementary school students...The young people learned how KO uses ICTs to create KiHS, Telehealth and other applications... Traditional skills were shared too... The youth learned how to make bannock and medicine pounches... The event was a success and Geordi Kakepetum says KO will do it next year with other schools...
